New advisory board at German Films
The AGM of German Films Service & Marketing GmbH shareholders – who include the Association of German Feature Film Producers, the Association of New German Feature Film Producers, the Association of German Film Exporters and German Federal Film Board (FFA), and six new members since 2004: the German Documentary Association (AG Dokumentarfilm), the German Short Film Association (AG Kurzfilm), the Association of German Television Producers, Stiftung Deutsche Kinemathek, FilmFernsehFonds Bayern and Filmstiftung NRW) – was held in Munich to elect six members of its new advisory board.
Alfred Huermer, board member of the Association of New German Feature Film Producers since January 1, 2003, was confirmed as the chairman of the advisory board while Michael Schmid-Ospach (FFF NRW director) was replaced by Klaus Schaefer (FFF Bayern director). The two managing directors of the funds take turns every two years to sit on the board.
The four other new members are Ulrike Schauz (director of the film department at the German Federal Ministry of Culture - BKM), Peter Dinges (FFA), Antonio Exacoustos (Association of German Film Exporters) and Michael Weber (Association of German Feature Film Producers).
