Top 40 German films in 2006

As every year, the FFA (the regulatory body for German cinema) has published its list of the 40 most seen German films at the box office.

These titles should be more than honoured, as domestic productions took a 25.8% market share in 2006. This is the best result ever recorded by the FFA since it began compiling statistics in 1991.

The list also included a few co-productions.
