Fischli & Weiss on show in Paris
The Modern Art Museum of Paris is hosting a comprehensive exhibit on the work of Zurich artists Peter Fischli and David Weiss until May 13.
Entitled Fleurs & Questions - Une rétrospective, the exhibit brings together 20 of their experimental and playful films for the first time in France.
Other events include photography and sculpture exhibits and video screenings. Two of the artists’ films are being shown: The Right Way (1983), where artists travel the world disguised as a rat and a bear, and The Way Things Go (1987), on a masterpiece construction of various items that when set in motion causes a chain reaction.
Inaugurated last autumn at the Tate Modern in London, the exhibition will visit the Kunsthaus in Zurich (June 6-September 9), before heading to Hamburg (November 16-February 3).
