The autumn selections

- Enter your film for one of the world's leading festivals. A list of forthcoming entry deadlines

Here are some forthcoming festivals that are currently selecting films.
Submissions must reach Strasbourg’s the European Film Forum (8-13 November) no later than 25 September. The event is a showcase for European films and includes a number of forums and meetings that are part of a week-long promotion of Europe’s cultural heritage.
Less serious but infinitely more spooky is the Noir in Festival, specialised in this genre, it offers a rich selection of Italian premieres, and the organisers are accepting submissions (both features and shorts) until 30 September.
Three major festivals have set their entry deadlines for 1 October. They are Estonia’s Black Nights Film Festival which also includes three “mini-festivals” for, respectively, animation, children’s and student’s films. Greece International Thessaloniki Film Festival will run from 15-24 November and is specialised in first and second films. The Best Film wins the prestigious “Golden Alexander” award and Euros 37,000. Last but by no means least comes the 12th edition of Norway’s Oslo International Film Festival. As well as a rich selection of films from all over the world, the Norwegian event will showcase recent national productions and has a special section for European films.
