Landscape changing
The biggest newspapers in Denmark, Jyllands-posten and Politiken, have expressed their interest in buying the Danish TV2 together with the media giant Egmont who publishes Morgenavisen. This move will put the publishing company Det Berlingske Officine under great pressure in the race for Denmark's biggest TV station.
Morgenavisen, Jyllands-posten and Politiken are together the most read newspapers in Scandinavia and their joint venture should immediately change the landscape in Danish Media land. It will be up to the Parliament to decide who the buyer will be.
