Peter Schønau Fog’s directorial debut The Art of Crying [+see also:

film profile] is hanging on to its second place in the Danish Top 10 behind Spiderman 3.

Since its release on April 27 through SF/Filmcompagniet, the film has totalled almost 100,000 admissions from 60 prints. The Final Cut production won the Audience Award at the Mannheim Heidelberg Film Festival last November.

AB Svensk Filmindustri’s head of the international division, Ann-Kristin Westerberg, is selling the film in Cannes from the Scandinavian Terrace, 55, La Croisette.
