Television Without Frontiers gets green light

On May 24, the Council of Ministers of Culture and Communication of the 27 EU Member States unanimously adopted a political agreement on the proposal of the directive aimed at a revision of the Television Without Frontiers directive (TVWF).
The Ministers congratulated themselves on the extension of the field of application of the TVWF directive on non-linear services and measures relating to the contribution of these services to the promotion of cultural diversity.
