Cannes cinema roads lead to Rome
“Just ten days after the end of the Cannes Film Festival, we are able to bring to Rome the [festival’s] most important films. And, thanks to a collaboration with BIM, we have all the top award winners in our program,” said Georgette Ranucci, artistic director of Le vie del cinema da Cannes a Roma (referred to locally as “Cannes in Rome”), at the press conference for the 12th edition of the event, which offers a week of Cannes titles in Rome in their original language and subtitled (a rarity in Italy).
From June 7-13, four cinemas in Rome (Alcazar, Nuovo Sacher, Roma and Quattro Fontane) will screen a number of the festival’s prize winners, including: 4 Months, 3 Weeks And 2 Days [+see also:
