With the conclusion of this, the number of titles that the Glasgow-based company represents increases to over 7000.

Nick Varley, managing director, Park Circus, said, “Park Circus is delighted to have concluded this agreement with Buena Vista International for the UK and Ireland. Through innovative marketing and promotion, we have successfully exploited the libraries of other major rights owners, both in the UK and internationally, generating increased revenue and awareness. We look forward to offering Buena Vista International a similar level of commitment and service”.

The company has existing catalogue distribution agreements with Granada International, MGM/UA and several other independent producers. They currently have Bernardo Bertolucci’s Last Tango in Paris on release and have tied up with the UK Film Council for the forthcoming Summer of British Film season.

In addition, re-releases of Raging Bull, The Sound of Music and All About Eve have been lined up in the coming months.
