Three world premieres at Montreal
Six Swiss features and co-productions will screen at the 31st Montreal World Film Festival (August 23-September 3).
The international competition section is hosting Jacob Berger’s 1 journée [+see also:

film profile] (Les Jeunes Toqués) will compete in the First Films category. Finger’s feature will be making its world premiere, as will Rolando Colla’s L’autre moitié, a Peacock Film co-production with Belgium, which will screen in the Regards sur les cinémas du monde section. Franz Josef Holzer’s L’écart (Sep & San Film Production) has also been selected in the section.
The programme features two documentaries: Daniel Schweizer’s Ceci est mon royaume (Rita Productions) and Egoïste - Lotti Latrous by German director Stephan Anspichler. This portrait of Latrous, who was voted 2004 Swiss Person of the Year for her work with AIDS sufferers on the Ivory Coast, is also making its international premiere.
