by Hungary’s Györgi Pálfi, Christian Thomas has added this gem to the catalogue of his distribution outfit IFD (Imagine Film Distribution). Just five years old, the company has the honour of releasing the Palme d’Or winner in 20 theatres across Belgium.

. The title, featuring a star-studded cast (Colin Firth, Ben Kingsley, Peter Mullan, Kevin McKidd, John Hannah and Ian Glen), is another UK co-production, with Italy and France (see news), among others.

The Leuven Short Film Festival is screening ten European animated shorts that picked up awards at various festivals in a film entitled De Poetsprin. Unfortunately, the interesting initiative can currently only be seen in Flanders.
