Fifty-three screenings, which will include national and international premieres, feature in the programme of the Deutsches Filmmuseum and the Cinestar Metropolis to present all facets of the genre. LUCAS 2007 will also offer a "Best Of" section, regrouping ten classics that have marked the festival’s 30-year history.

The event is also accompanied by a market, at which a series of parallel screenings are lined up. Industry professionals are further invited to take part in a round table discussion on the future of children’s cinema in Germany.
