The popular summer festival Drive-in Movies has once again filled the '50 Years Esplanade' in Brussels since the 5th of July. In this wonderful historical setting, open-air film buffs can rediscover the magic of a giant screen under the stars every Friday and Saturday until the 31st of August. Films are presented in their original languages and are subtitled. The sound is transmitted through the car radios. The event attracts thousands of people and often racecars steal the scene from the films. Even though American blockbusters dominate the event, there are also European hits such as Amelie and Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra. Drive-in Movies lets families relive the charm of movie-going in the 60's.
