FFA funds four projects

The screenplay funding commission of the FFA (Filmförderungsanstalt: German film regulation body) held its 101st session on November 8, presided by Christina Kallas. A total of €100,000 in funding was divided up equally amongst four different projects.

The first, Kundschafter, is the latest work by Robert Thalheim, who has just made a name for himself internationally with And Along Come Tourists [+see also:

The second project to benefit from €25,000 is Bei Pfeiffers ist Ball, by actress and television director Ilse Biberti (produced in Cologne by Lichtmeer Film).

The FFA has also selected Akiko Hitomi’s screenplay Die Werkstatt der Schmetterlinge (produced by Berlin company Animation X) and Der Tag der weißen Chrysanthemen, written by Nicola Schreiner for cut.it, the Stuttgart-based production and post-production company.
