Elli Makra competing in Thessaloniki

An overall 10 German (co)productions are being shown at the 48th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (November 16-25), one of Europe’s most renowned film events for up-and-coming filmmakers.
Athanasios Karanikolas' Elli Makra – 42277 Wuppertal will celebrate its international premiere in the competition for the Golden Alexander.
The Independence Days (ID-07) sidebar, which runs parallel to the competition section and presents young, provocative filmmakers includes Pia Marais (The Unpolished [+see also:
