EFA: Stars head to Berlin

French star Emmanuelle Béart and German actor Jan Josef Liefers will host the 20th European Film Awards ceremony, to be held in Berlin on December 1.
Joining them on stage to present the awards are actresses Alicja Bachleda-Curus (Poland), Maria Grazia Cucinotta (Italy), Virginie Ledoyen (France), Maia Morgenstern (Romania), Sonja Richter (Denmark), Johanna Ter Steege (The Netherlands), Lucy Russell (UK); actors Mehmet Kurtulus (Germany), Jean-Marc Barr (France), Sergi Lopez (Spain), Mads Mikkelsen (Denmark), Juanjo Puigcorbé (Spain), Maciej Stuhr (Poland); and Serbian filmmaker Stefan Arsenijevic.
Living legends Jeanne Moreau and Liv Ullman will also attend the ceremony, which this year will present Nouvelle Vague pioneer Jean-Luc Godard and German cinematographer Michael Ballhaus with lifetime achievement awards.
The ceremony, directed by Volker Weicker for German public broadcaster ZDF, will air in 61 territories.
