€1.08m granted to four pilot projects

Four pilot projects are being supported by the MEDIA Programme within the framework of the calls for proposals EACEA/12/07 with a total of just over €1.08m:
1. The Glitner project presented by French company Le Meilleur du Cinéma Français.
2. The D-Platform project, initiated by French company CN Films in partnership with eight European distributors, with the purpose of creating new digital film distribution services.
3. OnlineFILM.org, put forward by Germany company Onlinefilm AG and six other partners, aimed at creating a multilingual platform for the distribution of digital documentaries.
4. MIDAS, another German initiative, aimed at creating a database that localises European archives and gives online information about the programme, existing material, eligible parties and contacts.
