"Golden Ticket" to Medusa, Warner Bros and Universal
During the Sorrento Professional Screenings (November 27-30), the exhibitors of ANEC (National Cinema Exhibitors Association) award the films that in the theatres monitored by Cinetel garner the most admissions over the course of the film year (December 2006-November 2007).
The Biglietto d’Oro (“Golden Ticket”) goes this year to local title Natale a New York, followed by Shrek the Third and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix [+see also:

A special Summer at the Movies 2007 award, to the film and distribution company that clocked up the highest number of summer spectators, goes to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and Warner, which also won the prize for best overall distribution company of summer 2007.
Over 2,000 industry professionals attend the Screenings, from among exhibitors, distributors, producers, directors, screenwriters, actors, stand sellers and journalists. Throughout the event, the Italian and foreign films of 2008 will be presented, as well as the data on the 2007 film market, the latter during an industry press conference scheduled today.
