Takings are up at Turin

The 25th Turin Film Festival closed with a positive balance: a 79% increase in takings.

The first edition under the artistic direction of Nanni Moretti has also seen a 70-80% increase in admissions and a 47% increase in the number of accredited journalists.

Moretti has confirmed that he will head the next edition of the festival, continuing with the section "L’amore degli inizi" ("Love of Beginnings"), where the director interviews leading figures of Italian cinema about their directorial debuts.
