Bardem killing for a Golden Globe

Spanish actor Javier Bardem has been nominated to a Golden Globe in the best supporting actor category for his performance a psychopath killer in No Country For Old Men, directed by Ethan and Joel Coen.
Given by the international press established in Hollywood, the Golden Globes are seen as an antechamber to the Oscars. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2008.
Bardem is now expected to enter the Oscar hunting. The 38-year old actor had previously been nominated to an Academy Award for his performance as Cuban poet Reynaldo Arenas in Julian Schanabel's Before Night Falls.
