Red Like the Sky triumphs in Poland

by Cristiano Bortone, based on the true story of Mirco Mencacci, one of the Italy’s most renowned sound editors, picked up two awards at the Ale Kino! festival in Poznan, Poland. The Cifej Award presented by an international jury of film industry professionals and the Marcinek Prize awarded by a jury of young children and adolescents.

The film, screened as a Special Event at the 2006 RomeFilmFest, has won awards worldwide, including at the San Paolo, Montreal International Youth and Durban film festivals, as well as children’s festivals in Berlin and Tel Aviv.
