The full programme
On Friday, eight titles were added to the list of 18 already in the Berlinale selection. The new additions include several European films.
Among them is the French/German co-production Il y a longtemps que je t’aime (“I’ve Loved You for a Long Time”) by Philippe Claudel (see news), starring UK actress Kristin Scott Thomas and Elsa Zylberstein.
German co-production Black Ice by Finnish director Petri Kotwica, has also been selected. This film centres on an ambiguous love triangle (see news).
Screening out of competition are the latest work by Polish director Andrzej Wajda and UK co-production The Other Boleyn Girl by Justin Chadwick, starring Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson.
European cinema is also represented by the closing film, a US production directed by France’s Michel Gondry.
Of the 26 selected titles, ten European films will thus screen in competition and two out of competition.
