Priimägi heads international relations at Film Foundation

The Estonian Film Foundation has appointed Tristan Priimägi as its new head of international relations. Priimägi, who took on his new position at the end of February, replaced Lili Pilt, who is moving on to new challenges.

Born in Tartu in 1976, Priimägi graduated from Tartu University in 2001 with a BA in Film Semiotics. Since then, he has worked for different advertising agencies and several cultural projects, such as the graphic design webzine Beta and the Plink Plonk music festival.

In addition, Priimägi has been a regular contributor to many publications, writing about film, music and pop culture in general. He has also helped to promote Estonian films at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival.
