Film journalists honour Servillo and Solarino
The Film Journalists Union yesterday presented the Pasinetti Awards for Best Actor and Actress respectively to Toni Servillo, for his turn in Andrea Molaioli’s The Girl by the Lake [+see also:

“It was a beautiful but very difficult project,” said the actress, who in October will head to Sicily to begin shooting a film based on the true story of a Sicilian woman from the mid-19th century.
Two Special Mentions were given: to Salvatore Maira, the director of Waltz (coming out at the end of May), and Pietro Marcello for the documentary Il passaggio della linea (out tomorrow at newspaper stands with the magazine Internazionale) produced by Indigo Film.
The award for Best Film was presented to Gianni Zanasi’s Don’t Think About It [+see also:
