Trustnordisk official name for new sales entity

Three months after the announcement of their merger, Nordisk Film International Sales and Trust Film Sales have found a name for their common sales company: Trustnordisk.

Scandinavia’s biggest sales operation is situated in Filmbyen, Zentropa’s headquarters outside of Copenhagen. The company’s structure resembles the Berlin set-up led by CEO Rikke Ennis and Susan Wendt, head of Sales. Details of the full team will be unveiled within a few weeks.

The company’s official press statement states: “As a united company we stand stronger than ever in the international field. Together we can create a marketplace in which each film has its own tailored sales platform. Also introducing a new label system, we are able to provide the best possible service for all titles, be they arthouse, mainstream or family films.”

Trustnordisk was launched at this week’s MIP TV in Cannes. Projects on the company’s state included Omar Sharwagi’s Go With Peace Jamil [+see also:
