film profile] continues to draw international attention. Estonia’s double winner at Karlovy Vary 2007 has just added the Bronze Horse Award for Best Film at the Stockholm International Film Festival Junior, which ended last night.
The nine-member jury defined it “a strong and profound film with talented actors that deals with big and important questions. The closeness and the strong message makes the film feel authentic and it sticks with you.”
Two honorary awards were handed out to Portugal’s Behind the Clouds by Jorge Queiroga and Norway’s Switch by Ole Martin Hafsmo.
Both The Class and Switch are sold internationally by Nonstop Sales.
