Si può fare not about politics

by

Claudio Bisio, Anita Caprioli and Giuseppe Battiston are among the main cast of Giulio Manfredonia’s comedy Si può fare (“Yes We Can”). The title has nothing to do with the Italian elections (and even less with the US elections from which the slogan was lifted) and refers to one of the favourite sayings of Nello (Claudio Bisio), a former union labourer and currently an eccentric businessman in Milan in the 1980s.

Nello’s generosity and initiative come up against difficulty and hilarity when he meets a group of differently-abled partners and collaborators who he encourages to become socially integrated and emotionally independent.

Manfredonia’s third film, co-written with Fabio Boniffaci, is being produced by Angelo Rizzoli and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. It will shoot for eight weeks in Milan and Rome.
