NISI MASA scriptwriting contest on escape

NISI MASA, the young European film network that operates in 19 countries, is organising its seventh European Script Contest for Short Films. This year, young writers aged 18 to 28 are asked to focus on the theme of escape. The deadline for entries is July 31.
Over the past six years, thousands of young Europeans have taken part in the contest and 12 shorts have been completed.
The three winners of the 2008 contest will receive support from NISI MASA in the production and distribution of their film.
Moreover, 12 of the European finalists will be invited to take part in a scriptwriting residency in January-February 2009, organised in collaboration with the Moulin d'Andé Céci (Normandy, France).
