Moonstone has a new director
- The French producer will lead the workshop financed by Media for aspiring filmmakers
French producer, Jean-Luc Ormieres has been named Artistic Director of 
Moonstone International, the European workshop for aspiring directors and 
screenwriters, funded by the Media programme .
Ormieres' films include, Inseparable, Harem Suaré, Couch in New York  and he is already an organizer of many training courses in institutes such 
as the Ateliers du Cinema Europeen in France, the Film Business School in 
Spain and the Escuela Internacional de Cine in Cuba.  He has taken the 
place of Moonstone International's founder and director, John McGrath, 
who died last January.
Moonstone International, headquartered in Edinburgh, holds courses twice a 
year for screenwriting and one for directing.
