Buresi named vice director of Berlinale film market

Catherine Buresi has been named vice director of the Berlinale film market, a position she has occupied since September 1, 2008.
After heading the EAVE training programme, she worked from 2006-2008 as the technical asistance director for the Euromed Audiovisual Programme, a joint initiative between the European Union and Mediterranean countries.
Buresi commented to Cineuropa: "The Berlinale is a very interesting platform. I’m going to be in charge of the market under the direction of Beki Probst ".
