The film produced by Nina Crone (Crone Film) will have a major theatrical release in Denmark on October 10 through SF, with a 100-print run and marketing in line with Hollywood animation films. According to Sola Media, the film will be released on over 500 screens in Scandinavia, Russia and Poland.

Another popular Nordic animation film, Moomin and Midsummer Madness, based on Tove Jansson’s famous children’s book, has been picked up by NonStop Sales for world distribution (except Scandinavia, Poland and Japan). The film directed by Maria Lindberg was recently shown in competition at BUFF-the International Children & Young People’s Film Festival in Malmö, Sweden.

The film was produced by Film Companiet Alpha in Finland, in co-production with Poland and Austria. Nonstop will introduce the animation film at the upcoming MIPCOM in Cannes.
