Nine documentaries vying for the Prix Arte

Nine documentaries have been nominated for the Prix Arte – European Film Academy Documentary 2008.

Appointed by the European Film Academy and ARTE, the documentary jury, composed by Karoline Leth (SF Film Production, Denmark), Kirsi Tykkyläinen (Moscow Film Festival, Finland) and Alan Hayling (Renegade Pictures Ltd, UK) will chose among one of the following titles:

Durakovo – Le village des fous - Nino Kirtadzé, France

Children. As Time Flies - Thomas Heise, Germany
The Mother - Antoine Cattin and Pavel Kostomarov, Switzerland

The 21st European Film Awards ceremony will take place on December 6 in Copenhagen.
