Rome & Lazio FC hosts events for producers, master classes and workshops

On the occasion of the Rome International Film Festival (October 22-31), the Rome & Lazio Film Commission have organised a busy programme of initiatives.

On October 24, there will be a double event for film producers, held in collaboration with The Business Street International Film Market. On a European level, there will be the co-production meetings of CRC Capital Regions for Cinema, the network of Film Commissions of the European regions of Ile de France, Rome & Lazio, Comunidad de Madrid and Berlin-Brandenburg. This is the 12th edition after previous meetings at Cannes (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008), Berlin (2006, 2007, 2008), San Sebastian (2005, 2006, 2007) and Rome (2007) and it will be attended by producers and distributors from France, Germany, Spain and Italy.

Looking beyond Europe, in collaboration with The Business Street International Film Market, there will be the "Italy and Brazil" co-production meetings, with the participation of Brazilian producers attending the Rome Film Festival as part of the initiative Occhio sul Mondo/FOCUS BRASILE.

In collaboration with the Lazio Region Training Centre for Film and Audiovisual Works and InFWA (International Film Workshop Academy), the Rome & Lazio Film Commission will also host the first edition of “CineCampus - Cinema Lessons” at the Rome Festival.

“CineCampus” will take place over four intensive days (October 24-27) of master classes and workshops and offer a chance for established professionals to meet with young talents. As teachers of film direction, cinematography and production, renowned international figures from the film and audiovisual field will give lessons to members of the rising generation of film professionals, offering an exclusive opportunity for growth and development.
