Launch of recruitment portal for audiovisual sector

Asset Media Consulting – the consulting firm specialised in the audiovisual sector – has set up a portal for the search and selection of staff for audiovisual companies. The aim is to offer users a simple way to find the professional most suited to each job.
The website will be called Searchlight España and will operate in Spain thanks to an agreement signed with Searchlight Group, a company that works in this field in the Anglo-Saxon market.
Searchlight operates in the UK and its clients include major film and television companies such as Warner, Fremantle, Universal, Paramount, Sony, UPC, the BBC and ITV, etc.
Javier Vacas – director general of Asset Media Consulting – commented: "The market is going to require specialist advice in the coming years. Competition will be fierce due to the complex international scene and an urgent need for results. The correct selection of staff has become the key element for gaining that competitive advantage and the audiovisual sector is aware of this".
Fátima Urosa has been appointed director of Searchlight España. Urosa has experience in the Spanish and international film and television industries, after working for companies such as Disney ABC ESPN Television and the British Film Institute.
