Wild Fields gets top prize in Estoril

Russian film Wild Fields by Mikhail Kalatozishvili received the top prize at the second edition of the Estoril Film Festival, whose closing ceremony took place last Friday night at the Estoril Casino.
The film was chosen from among 14 European titles by a jury chaired by Literature Nobel Prize winner J.M. Coetzee.
Kalatozishvili also accepted the Cineuropa Award on behalf of his fellow director Bakur Bakuradze, for the film Shultes.
Other winners include Adrian Sitaru’s Romanian title Hooked [+see also:
