New survey about regional film financing

peacefulfish, a consultancy specialized in international film financing, is launching a new yearly study, entitled “The European Attractiveness Barometer for Film Production: The Best Regions in Europe.” The first edition will be presented during the Berlin International Film Festival, in February 2009.
The main objective of this study is to evaluate the criteria for producing content in Europe and to analyze the gap between the perceived and real attractiveness of a region.
Film producers are invited to answer an online survey in order to evaluate the region’s strengths. Combined with the impressions of film financiers and film commissions themselves, the producers’ feedback will enable peacefulfish to draw a realistic picture of what the regions have to offer.
