, lead the 25th Robert Awards, Denmark’s national film prizes, with 14 nominations each in 16 categories.

Both films are running for Best Film and Best Director against Niels Arden Oplev’s Worlds Apart [+see also:

(12 nominations), Kristian Levring’s Fear Me Not (10 nominations) and Annette K. Olesen’s Little Soldier [+see also:

Competition will be tough for Best Actor, between Anders W. Berthelsen (What No One Knows), Carsten Bjórnlund (One Way to Korsør), Jakob Cedergren (Terribly Happy), Thure Lindhardt (Flame & Citron) and Ulrich Thomsen (Fear Me Not).

The five actresses vying for Best Actress are Julie R. Ølgaard (Crying for Love), Lene Maria Christensen (Terribly Happy), Paprika Steen (Fear Me Not), newcomer Rosalinde Mynster (Worlds Apart) and Trine Dyrholm (Little Soldier).

Cinematographer Jørgen Johansson is nominated twice for Flame & Citron and Terribly Happy, and Manon Rasmussen could win her twelfth Robert in the Best Costume Design category for her work on Flame & Citron.

Three films will run for Best Childrens and Youth Film: the animation film Sunshine Barry & the Disco Worms [+see also:

, the comedy Frode and All the Other Rascals and the coming-of-age film Max Pinlig, which will compete for a Crystal Bear at the upcoming Berlinale.

The Danish Film Academy will hold their annual film awards ceremony on February 1 in Copenhagen.
