by

Filming begins January 19 in Venice on Dieci Inverni (“Ten Winters”), a sentimental comedy by Valerio Mieli, starring Isabella Ragonese and Michele Riondino, along with Glen Blackall and Russian actors Liuba Zaizeva and Sergei Zhigunov. The shoot will last three weeks in Venice, two in and around Moscow, two in Rome and another four days in Valdobbiadene.

The film is a co-production between CSC Production, RAI Cinema and Russia’s UFC - United Film Company. It also marks the first time that the National Film School is involved in the production of a feature film of one of its former students, and not just in a graduation project. Dieci Inverni is moreover the first Russian-Italian movie to be made after a co-production agreement signed by the two governments in 2005.
