Cinecittà Holding: Cicutto president, Sovena managing director
The commissarial management of Cinecittà Holding Spa has ended, making way for the creation of a new national agency modelled after the French National Film Centre (CNC).
The Holding’s until now sole director, Gaetano Blandini, successfully reduced Holding’s debt from €65m to €8m, selling off the Mediaport cinema network and balancing the accounts after two years of significant losses.
Minister of Culture Sandro Bondi gave Blandini the official task of restructuring and installing a new Board of Administrators, composed of President Roberto Cicutto (independent producer), Managing Director Luciano Sovena (current president of Istituto Luce) and board members Massimo Biasotti Mogliazza, Nicola Porro and Roberto Cadonati.
