Survey on banks’ roles in European film industry

The MEDIA Programme of the European Commission has commissioned a study on the role of the banks in the European film industry from peacefulfish, in collaboration with Cineuropa.
The study will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival during a seminar with European bankers. As the film industry has traditionally little access to financial resources from banks, with the current credit crunch the MEDIA Programme has recognised the need to discuss what can be done to develop banking activity in the industry throughout Europe.
