The SWIM in the Digital World Seminar

by

- A contribution to the Case Study method applied to the audiovisual industry

This 18-day course took place in Nantes last summer (26 June to 13 July) with the objective of providing participants with extensive knowledge about the pending digital revolution in the film and audiovisual industry.
Thanks to the support of the MEDIA Programme, the seminar drew 30 participants from UK, Romania, Germany, France, Spain, and Hungary, most of them being students already registered, in the institutions members of the Consortium.
An academic staff of 24 people – lecturers, coaches, assistants – made it possible for the pre-defined goals of the SWIM Consortium to be achieved. Students gained awareness on how to take advantage of digital technologies for the development, production, distribution and promotion of film and audiovisual material.
This invaluable asset will help them to be more efficient in their present positions and future careers.
