Iris Film launches Rambaldi’s Il soffio dell’anima

by

Coming out on March 13, in connection with World Kidney Day (March 12), is Il soffio dell’anima, written and directed by Victor Rambaldi. The film tells the dramatic story of a young man on dialysis, who fights to keep his disease from controlling his life and shattering his dreams.

"The idea for this film,” said the director, "came about after I met the writer Valentina Lippi Bruni, who is today an electronics entrepreneur and who at the age of 17 wrote the beautiful autobiographical story upon which the film is based". Son of special effects wizard Carlo Rambaldi, who has won Oscars for E.T., Alien and King Kong, Victor grew up in the film world. "This is why the dream-like aspects of my film almost unconsciously have scenes full of special effects", he admits.
