- The follow-up to Luxembourg's hit of year, Club des chômeurs, will be out in the spring of 2003 and reflect the multicultural aspects of the Grand Duchy

During the home video release of Audry Bausch’s Le club des chômeurs (The Unemployed Workers’ Club), a Luxembourg social comedy on the lines of The Full Monty, Iris Productions and the film’s distributor, PTD, announced that a sequel was in the pipeline for the spring of 2003.
Entitled La revanche des chômeurs (The Revenge of the Unemployed Workers), the new film will see our heroes transformed into the managers of a highly successful soccer club. Unlike the original, however, the sequel will be made in a variety of languages like French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Albanian as well as Luxembourgeous, as a reflection of this multicultural society. The new film will also be co-produced by Switzerland’s Fama Film with funding from the Luxembourg Film Fund FONSPA.
