The first will see film producers, tax and law experts discuss and share their practical experience of different forms of financing, with special emphasis on each expert’s specialist sector. A third panel will look at the cultural and economic merits of circulating German films abroad and will try to develop new concepts to improve this. The programme also includes a debate about the need for reform to the copyright law in order to give producers new incentives, and contribute to the development of a healthy production industry, taking into account the difficulties this sector is currently experiencing. This event was organised in collaboration with the German TV producers’ association.
