Moving into A Small Room in Luxembourg

by

The Swiss/Luxembourg co-production La Petite Chambre (“The Small Room”) has started filming in Luxembourg City, the capital of the Grand Duchy. The film is the feature debut of the duo Véronique Reymond-Stéphanie Chuat, who co-directed the short Berlin Backstage in 2004.

La Petite Chambre tells the story of a 35-year-old nurse, Rose, who starts working again after a long absence. She visits the 85-year-old Edmond as part of her rounds, a cantankerous old man who does not want to be helped. The title is a reference to an unoccupied baby room in Rose’s house that she avoids at all costs.
