Presentation & Philosophy:
Anica Academy is a non-profit foundation that offers both basic and highly specialised training in cinema and audiovisual media for established professionals and recent graduates.
The foundation was launched in October 2020 by Anica, Medusa, Netflix, Rai, Viacom CBS and Vision Distribution, to respond to the growing market demand for skilled specialists.
Our goal is a lofty one: to give this industry a new vision, one that is wide-ranging, contemporary and well-informed.
The founders – all nationally and internationally renowned private entities in the cinema and audiovisual industries – ensure that the teaching offered meets the needs of the sector, contributing their resources and engagement to support the Academy's work moving forward.
Number of students/ full-time/ part-time workshops:
10 to 30 students per course, 4 courses per year
Number of students in film/animation studies:
All our courses are dedicated to the Audio-visual industry.
Number of international students:
International students are welcome.
Number of teachers:
10 to 60 depending on the course
Degree category / length of studies:
Anica Academy does not grant a university diploma. The length of the courses varies from shorter workshop to max 1 year.
