Christopher Roth writes bloody thrillers. Fed up, he wants to try and write in a more romantic style, against his editor’s will (Paul Andersen). Andersen suggests Roth and his wife go to Italy, to think this over. There, the author’s imagination comes rushing back.

Maxime Alexandre is known as a cinematographer. He worked on P2, La colline a des yeux, and The Crazies. Today, he changes personalities and becomes Max Sender to write and direct Christopher Roth, his second feature after Holy Money in 2009. Back from the US - after a pretty interesting carrier – he explains to Cineuropa how the European Cinema is different, and talks about HD and what it can bring.
