The 727 days without Karamo is a documentary concerning the current debate on asylum and migration laws and especially how those compromise private relations and marriages of mixed couples in Austria. To most of binational couples migration and asylum laws apply, which makes them struggle with an intransparent bureaucracy and mostly inflexible conditions. Showing people’s passionate fight for love, the film presents a plea addressing society and executives for a change on those suppressing conditions by building an awareness about it.
