The Pesaro International Film Festival of New Cinema 2003 dedicates a retrospective as a homage to the video and film production of the two filmmakers and performers Flavia Mastrella and Antonio Rezza. Two artists who have nevertheless accumulated a solid following throughout their over 20-year career in film and theatre.
The retrospective was completed by selection of images from different works and a performance by the authors.
In the interview the two artists talk about the unfinished Samp, a work they presented during the Festival, although still incomplete. They believe that unfinished work is more involving, observing how "people feel more involved, and the work grows with them".
They also explain way they decided to stop working for cinema, saying that they wanted to protest against an "intellectual non intervention".
