Diego Aparicio, founder and artistic director of Queer Wave: the LGBTIA+ film festival in Cyprus, talks with us about the journey of the project. It started as an online platform during the pandemic, then in 2022 it had its third edition, with physical screenings and different sessions and performances. The festival aims to be sustainable with screenings in various cities in Cyprus and seeking to engage all kinds of audiences, not only for the LGBTIA+ communities.
